He fathered 18 children that I have found in his 3 marriages. The last one at the age of 73

Soldier in the 17th Foot Leicestershire Regiment (1793 - 1819)

Enlisted in the 17th Foot Leicestershire Regiment in 1793 in Bristol. Served 26 years, Private: 3 years, Corporal 10 months, Sergeant 13 years 1 month and Quartermaster Sergeant 9 years 7 months. Conduct excellent. Discharged at Ghazipur, India in 1819

Publican in Eastern on the Hill at least from 1838 (daughters marriage cert) and 1841 census
