Date and place of birth – about 1742, probably in Stockbridge, Hampshire Names of parents – John and Grace (nee Barnes) Tongs Date and place of baptism – 27 November 1742, Stockbridge, Hampshire Details of each of his or her marriages – to Mary Cole, 4 February 1763, Andover, Hampshire Occupation(s) – Tailor. Robert was apprenticed to John Mollersh (sp?), a tailor of Middle Wallop, Southampton, Hampshire on 7 December 1752. Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK) - and please list which censuses you have or haven't found him/her on (if s/he lived in census times!). All known children born/baptised in Stockbridge, Hampshire between 1768 & 1776. Listed in The Hampshire Directory (1784) as being a Tailor in Stockbridge between 1776 & 1800. Date, place and cause of death – 1806 in Hampshire Date and place of burial – 21 November 1806, Bishops Waltham, Hampshire Details of will / administration of their estate - unknown Memorial inscription - unknown Daughter Lucy Tonge
