So it doesn't look as though that would be your Mary, does it? I can't see a thread about Samuel, is there one anywhere? If not, then what info do you have about him, where and when was he born, occupation, when did he die, please?

FamilySearch has Samuel and Alice's marriage as 15 Dec 1803 at Ashwell, Rutland.

So if that Samuel in 1841 was the right one, it would be Mary's grandson Samuel jr, not her son.

Right pass Kate but have just noticed that samuel b 1807 was amrried twice his 1st wife was Elizabeth , sorry minds wandering bit now been flat out getting ready for Julies visit lol
