Born c1811 Middlesex (1841) c1807 Pancras, Middlesex (1851)
Married Elizabeth - two possibilities both at St Pancras, either (12 Jul 1829) Elizabeth Mardel or (16 Jan 1832) Elizabeth Maydew. Two children baptised at Pancras - Harriet Ann in 1833 and John in 1835 and four more appearing on the 1851, Daniel c1836 Charles c1844 David c1848 and Edward c1850, all born Pancras. 1833/35 Grafton Street, Pancras 1841 Lower Edmund Street, Camden Town 1851 25 Lower Cambridge Street, Pancras 1861 - missing Occupation - carpenter 1833/35/51, journeyman carpenter 1841 There is a John Carr in Pancras Workhouse in 1871, a widower and joiner born in Holt, Norfolk who I thought might be him. He's still there in 1881, occupation carpenter but unmarried and I have the death certificate of a John Carr carpenter aged 75 in Pancras Workhouse in 1883. However there is then a John Carr in 1891 in there aged 80 born Ravenham Norfolk, a widower and carpenter who appears to die the following year so I'm a tad confused. You could get a birth certificate for one of the children born after 1837 to get Elizabeth's maiden name, if we can find a birth registration. David could be David George Carr whose birth was registered Sep 1849 St Pancras?
