I now know a whole lot more
Name - "official" name and what they were known as Sarah Hughbourne Date and place of birth c1750 Cuckfield, Sussex Names of parents William & Mary HubornMistranscription, should be Walter and Mary Date and place of baptism - if applicable 19 Aug 1750 Holy Trinity, Cuckfield, Sussex Details of each of his or her marriages - if any As before, 24 Apr 1781 Cuckfield , Sussex to John Juniper Occupation(s) - if any - Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK) - and please list which censuses you have or haven't found him/her on (if s/he lived in census times!). Cuckfield parish Date, place and cause of death 26 Apr 1826 Cuckfield Date and place of burial. 01 May 1826 Holy Trinity Cuckfield on the south side of the church right next to a dumpy little yew tree in a double plot with a double gravestone with her husband Details of will / administration of their estate - if applicable - Memorial inscription - if any IN/MEMORY OF/SARAH WIFE OF/JOHN JUNIPER/WHO DEPARTED THIS/LIFE 26 APRIL/1826/AGD 76 YEARS/... then follows 4 lines that I couldn't read, probably a biblical quotation. I've got a not particularly good photo (wet day, had to crawl under the yew bush to get it) so will try again when the weather & light are kinder. Last edited by Jill; 28-10-13 at 19:44.
