I’ve had a new laptop for Christmas and still haven’t transferred anything from my old one. New one is windows 11, old one windows 10. Have been using FTM 2012 which suits me fine. It works ok on windows 10, will it work on 11?

I have downloaded the trial version of Family Historian and loaded my family tree on it. So far it is working well on Windows 11, and seems fairly similar to use as FTM.
I have still got to work out what exactly I can do with it as far as printing, loading photos, linking to FindMyPast etc, so I will spend a day playing with that before I commit to purchase. The current price for the download from the Family Historian site is about the same as FTM, and cheaper than the price quoted on Amazon. I am not sure that I would get a discount for FTM as my version is 2007 and purchased as a disc from a local shop. Although I guess I registered it when I purchased it.

All trees successfully uploaded to new laptop with Windows 11. No problems at all.
