Well let me ask you this then, since im biracial and written records kept by europeans go back only until the early 16th century, how can i determine who were my ancestors originally like in the year 1305 then? Were they american indian people or european settlers? To which of the two can i ultimately descend from? Were my ancestors originally native americans or european settlers from spain in the year 1305? I have reason to suspect that in the year 1305 my relatives where originally native americans and not european settlers.... What do you think?

We have explained that we can't answer this, nor can anyone else.
Concentrate on your more recent ancestors. Why 1305? Have you already a reliable tree? You haven't answered our previous replies. |

If you are biracial, then half (or some fraction) of your ancestors were Native Americans and half (or some fraction) of them were Europeans. The ancestors of the European settlers would have been Europeans.

If you haven't done a DNA test you don't even know what percentage of European/indio ancestry you have, and in any case, even the ethnicity estimates of the major DNA testing sites are only a very rough guide: the science is still in its infancy. |

It doesn't matter how far records go back if you cannot get past your grandparents etc.
You can only go back as far as you can prove.
