Default Do drugs affect DNA results?

I have a friend undertaking chemo at the moment, and thinking that the treatment might affect the results.

Is this likely to be the case?

I can't see it myself, but it would be useful to know.

From the ISOGG wiki:

Will chemotherapy or radiation affect my DNA results?

Cancer treatments do not seem to affect DNA results. However, it's recommended that you wait a few months after treatment before collecting a sample for testing.
