Default New Beta feature on Ancestry trees - prioritized people

"Prioritize the people you're most interested in so you can find them more easily in your tree". It's in the tags feature. I think earlier on today I saw a message which said you can give this tag to a maximum of 10 people in your tree and it will prioritize them for hints. Has anybody tried this feature yet? I have never used the tags but I might give it a go in case it does anything useful.

I saw the greyed star beside the names of some of my people, and clicked on it to see and it turned red. Not sure I would use it, as I don't take much notice of general hints anyway.

Maybe I should just turn one on and see what happens - will Ancestry notify me if there are more hints for a prioritized person, I wonder?

The only tags I use are for proved DNA matches, but I don't really get much out of that.

I use dna tags quite often but should use them more than I do, mostly to indicate a match and/or identify (usually deceased), people in my tree who are descendants of a common ancestor. If it's a non Ancestry match I'll add something in the notes/comments (whichever is the private one), about which site, shared cM, shared matches, pro-tools info and queries/observations from bmd.

I often come to a dead end where records are concerned so there can be quite a delay before I revisit someone in my tree and it acts as a reminder to what I had found or had been doing.

I have starred three so far - its for people I've had put tentative parents for but really need someone else to have researched them too to see if I'm right - my tree is private so as not to confuse people.

I had hoped that DNA matches for OH and son would have helped but unfortunately not - far too many have not put trees up so can't find any connection.

It doesn't seem to have come up with any useful hints so far for the ones I starred.

I imagine it is at aimed at, and will prove most useful for, the beginner who suddenly has a tree of several hundred people and is being deluged by hints.
