Name - "official" name and what they were known as Alice Cooper (or Foster/Forster)
Date and place of birth About 1817, Scarisbrick, Lancashire
Names of parents James Cooper and Margaret Foster
Date and place of baptism - if applicable 2 May 1817 North Meols, Lancashire, "illegitimate daughter of James Cooper and Margaret Foster, spinster, abode Copend". (James Cooper and Margaret Foster did eventually marry each other in 1819.)
Details of each of his or her marriages - if any 2 Mar 1835 Ormskirk, Lancashire, to James Rimmer
Occupation(s) - if any Farmer's wife
Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK) - and please list which censuses you have or haven't found him/her on (if s/he lived in census times!).

Ooh, this is exciting - I haven't looked at this part of my tree for ages and I'm finding loads to add about Alice's parents. I've found a National Probate Calendar entry for her father, so I can order a copy of his will! (Shame the postbox across the road is sealed at the moment, so I'll have to go for a walk to post the application!)
