John W Waddicor 49 y 5 m, married, born Lancashire Darwen, late Gen Labourer, no children under 16.

I can't see another birth for this person.

As far as I can see from the censuses, those are his parents. Not sure why you think they wouldn't be?

No, I'm not sure either! I confused myself by reading lots of old messages on other sites and came away convinced his father was William (even though it says Joseph on his marriage record).

Yes Joseph and Alice are my 2 x grandparents. Parents of John William who we are trying to find.
