Date and place of birth: Abt 1805 at Newchurch (LLannewydd) Carmarthenshire, Wales (from Censuses)
Names of parents: Richard Bowen and wife Jane Davies (Mary's Baptism of Vollowen-land (Followen-lan - told Welsh spelling)
Date and place of baptism: 1/3/1807 Newchurch, Carmarthenshire (Parish record at RO Carmarthen)
"Census of 1676 ... parish of Newchurch ... The Bowens, the mainstay of these Nonconformists were already taxed for four hearths in 1670")
Marriage: 5/10/1826 to John Davies at Newchurch (Llan-newydd) Carmarthenshire, Wales
Occupation: Farmer’s wife and mother of twelve surviving children.
