I think his birthplace is Kemsing rather than Kensing. There are two Russell couples having children baptised at Kemsing around the right time: John and Arabella are one, and William and Elizabeth the other. John and Arabella got married in 1813 and it looks as though William and Elizabeth got married 6 Dec 1807 at Seal, because they also come up at "Kempsing" - presumably the banns were read there. The first baptism for a child of William and Elizabeth that I can see at Kemsing is a Hester in 1813, but surely they must have had some before her if they got married in 1807. (all this is from FamilySearch)

So I'm thinking that your John could be a child of theirs, but need to find something to prove it.
