Default Richard Fletcher (MMFMMF)

Name - "official" name and what they were known as
Richard Fletcher

Date and place of birth
Possibly Quorn, Leicestershire, around 1736.
His age was given as 32 in the 1767 marriage licence and as 70 when he died in 1809, which would give a birth date of 1735-39.

Names of parents
Possibly Nathan Fletcher and Mary Wilson

Date and place of baptism - if applicable
Possibly 7th November 1729 at St. Bartholemew's parish church, Quorn, Leicestershire. This doesn't fit the age at marriage and death very well; however, I have found that ages in marriage licences are often quite inaccurate.

Details of each of his or her marriages - if any
Married Ann Tugby on 25th May 1767 at St. Bartholemew's parish church, Quorn, Leicestershire

Occupation(s) - if any
1768: servant

Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK) - and please list which censuses you have or haven't found him/her on (if s/he lived in census times!).
July 1768: Barrow on Soar, Leicestershire (parish at time of marriage according to the marriage licence, although the Quorn marriage register says he was "of this parish")
September 1768: Quorn, Leicestershire (parish of son's baptism)
1771: moved from Quorn to Woodhouse, Leicestershire (settlement order; should probably be Woodthorpe)
1809: Woodthorpe, Leicestershire

Date, place and cause of death
16th January 1809 at Woodthorpe, Leicestershire

Date and place of burial
Baptist church cemetery, Quorn, Leicestershir

Details of will / administration of their estate - if applicable
Not known

Memorial inscription - if any
Beneath sleep the remains of Richard Fletcher late of Woodthorpe who after a lingering illness peacefully resigned his spirit on the 16th of January 1809 aged 70 years.
The loving Husband and the Friend sincere,
The tender Father now lies buried here,
The path of life he with industry trod,
An honest Man's the noblest work of God.
