This is the mother of my GG-grandmother Hannah Knight, born in Leicester c. 1803.

Unfortunately Knight is a fairly common name in Leicester. The most likely baptism I've found is a Hannah Knight born on 19/07/1803 and baptised at St. Margaret's Church, Leicester on 25/07/1803, parents Daniel and Ann. Daniel and Ann had several other children baptised at St. Margaret's, the last of whom was baptised in 1820, by which time Daniel had died.

I can't be absolutely certain that this is the correct baptism, and I haven't found a likely candidate for Ann in 1841. I don't think the family were well off (Daniel was a bricklayer in 1815), and I haven't found any sign of a will, so I probably won't be able to get any further with this line.

Have you got the names of the witnesses from Daniel and Ann's wedding?

No, I've never found their full marriage details.

The date and place come from the entry in the IGI and Family Search Record Search. That links to the BTs for St. Margaret's, but I've had the microfilm at my local LDS centre, and gone through it with a fine toothcomb without finding anything. The film is awful; partly illegible, and all out of order. 1803 seems to be missing completely, so I don't know how the transcribers found it.

Unfortunately the marriage isn't on FreeReg, and the LDS don't seem to have filmed the PRs, but next time I'm in Leicester I'll have a look at them to see if I can find it.
