Default Edmund Balls

Name - "official" name and what they were known as
Edmund Balls

Date and place of birth
c1775 - the child I know about was born in 1811 and the child's mother was born in 1777

Names of parents

Date and place of baptism - if applicable

Details of each of his or her marriages - if any
Rebecca Atkins - she was from Patington or Batington(?) in Yorkshire (see census HO107 1810 folio 47 p36)

Occupation(s) - if any
His wife was a bread & flour seller on the 1841 so he could have been in a related trade, a baker perhaps??

Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK) - and please list which censuses you have or haven't found him/her on (if s/he lived in census times!).
Their daughter was baptised in Briston, Norfolk, England

Date, place and cause of death
before 1851 (his wife is a widow on census HO107 1810 folio 47 p36) and maybe before 1841 because she's alone on that one too.

Thanks Merry, that would give him dob of 1765 then, so could fit with my man.

I wonder why freereg transcribed more info than familysearch ?? I'm guessing they had the same register.

Normally when FreeREG transcribers are working from the PR's they transcribe everything that is on the record, but FamilySearch effectively tell their transcribers which particular fields they are to transcribe for each set of records.
