The Somerset wills index doesn't have any entries for Pepler or Peppler:

Hmmm, the Somerset OPC site has the surname as Pipler for the 1788 baptism, (26th Oct) and FamilySearch has a marriage for William Pipler and Sarah Ashley 29 Jul 1788 at St Philip and St Jacob in Bristol.

Thanks Kate! That marriage sounds really possible. Sarah died within a couple of years of her marriage so I don't have an age at burial for her either.

I have records for the family about 50:50 Pipler/Pepler, but Pepler wins out eventually!
