His occupation on the 1851 census is Pauper / Ag Labr.

The 1800 marriage is on FreeREG and shows his marital status as single, also in the Bishop's Transcripts on FamilySearch (BT's - Norfolk - Archdeaconry of Norfolk - 1800-1801 - A-Y - image 176.) So I don't think he was married before (there is a widower on the same page, so they didn't just write in "single" for widowers.)

Wow many thanks Kate at least I now defo know his parents there s plenty of trees on ancestry but look like lots have guessed parents etc
