Yes well spotted Kite. I did not notice that. It is the right family. His burial also free reg gives address as St. Phillips Bristol which is near Bristol docks and the old fish market. That's a first for my tree. He was the grandfather of Jabez Dando of the prison mug shot and death by rough on rats.

There was a thread up about him a while ago. Jabez emigrated to Australia where he seemed to have had a very stormy life. He was imprisoned for shooting his wife after an argument (she survived) and finally committed suicide by drinking rat poison. http://genealogistsforum.co.uk/forum...ht=jabez+dando
