Jood, Petersfield is a lovely place, I stayed outside there at a place called Langrish House and caught the bus into Petersfield. I found a great hair salon and a hair cut and a bit of pampering. I also found a excellent 2nd hand/antique book and print shop. I will look into my notes and see what else I have ... I seem to recall having some wonderful soup and a wicked desert for lunch ..
Peter's ancestors the Greentrees came from Harting, which is just across the border in Sussex. |

Jood, I bought a lovely scroll in the church - of the Parish of St. Mary and Gabriel, Harting. On the map it notes West, East and South Harting. South Harting is the village where the church is. I was fortunate that I was with my friends and F. is a keen historian and traditional furniture maker. As we walked around the village, he could tell me all about it. I will put some phots together and email them to you.
