I've been thinking about this overnight, as you do!
This family is the one that got me started on the whole family history thing, and I never really bothered about his 1st and 2nd wife as our line is from Martha, his 3rd! Yesterday I had a look at some trees on Ancestry that have him in (there are a few) and some people have his 2nd wife as Elizabeth Bobby, could this be the sister of wife number 3? I can't find baptisms for either. But, if they were sisters, wasn't that illegal? I know if often went on, but this bloke is a vicar! |
