world war one bedford signal depot

Hi ,i am trying to find all info regarding Bedford signal depot , my ancestor was in the royal engineers and was sent to this depot after he came out of hospital , for a injury he sustained abroad in the field . i know it was a recruiting post etc . But if anyone has any more info on this i would love to know thanks .
