Default Cost of ordering wills

How much do wills cost to buy now?

I *thought* they were originally £5.00 and then went up to £6 or £8, but when looking online I can only see reference to £10 per copy of each will.

This seems to have gone up quite a lot in a relatively short period of time.

Are they now £10? Have I blinked and missed the pay rises in between?

Thanks.

Thanks Glen.

That is quite a hike. Before, I could afford to get wills more out of interest for more distant relatives. £10 makes that less feasible.

Yes, quite an increase and you can't apply to one of the local Probate Offices for a copy now, so a higher price and a longer wait!

That is a big jump, sadly I have hardly any of my direct line that have left them, bu it would put me off ordering less close family

Well I am eternally grateful for my sister lodging my bulk order for me when she was in London a year or so ago. I doubt I would have done it at ten pounds each.
