I doubt his body is there. PEACOCK Head Stone South Walk In memory of John Peacock Master Mariner who was drowned in Whitby Harbour Nov 19th 1771 ….. …… died on the 22d ……… 57 year also Jane wife of the above John Peacock who departed this life the 1st ? of April 1800 aged 83 y (Verse) I need to look at this in further detail.
