In the meantime, there is a likely child by Albert's marriage to Doreen - if you search on FreeBMD for births with surname Mullis, mother's maiden name Woodward, you will see the name. I won't post it on here because it looks as though that person is still living.

I found a public tree on Ancestry which says that Ronald Beer born 1935 Exeter, died 1936 Devon Central, was another of Laura's children. Also Joan Violet Beer born 1932 Exeter, married twice, died in 1999. You could contact the tree owner for more information as the tree shows there are more siblings but their details are private as they are still alive. I'm not sure how accurate the tree is though, because it seems to have the wrong name for Laura's husband.

I was trying to see if there was a public tree showing Laura's parents, siblings etc but not found one yet. The problem is that there doesn't seem to be a Laura Mary Wood (or Worth) birth registration corresponding to her supposed date of birth so it's hard to find the right family without seeing one (or both) of her marriage certificates.

As for Albert George Mullis, luckily we have his parents' names from the CWGC record, so he is the Albert G Mullis whose birth was registered Jul-Sep 1921 Nuneaton, MMN Sanders. There is also a David Mullis birth registration Jan-Mar 1919 and Clarence N Mullis Jan-Mar 1926, who were Albert's brothers. Clarence Norman Mullis died in 1998.

There are some public trees on Ancestry showing Albert's parents, siblings, half-siblings etc, for example this one:

If you search the British Newspaper Archive for "laura mary wood", there are some results from newspapers in Devon dated June 1925, Laura Mary Wood, 19, from Streete, charged with stealing a ring from her employer. I wonder whether this could be the same person and she later knocked a few years off her age?

If she was born earlier than 1910, there are a few possible birth registrations in 1904 and 1906 in Devon so you might need to order one or both of her marriage certificates to get her father's details so you can work out which is the right one, and then we would be able to see whether she had siblings.

Thank you so much.lots to go through, just like to ask you about my heritage DNA,in your opinion how accurate is it, because am thinking more along lines that my cousin's mother is likely to be a daughter of Laura rather than a sister of Laura? Many thanks

If you mean that MyHeritage is saying "Probable relationship 1st cousin", it is guessing which is the most likely from the possible relationships for the amount of shared DNA. If your cousin clicks where it says "1st cousin", it should show the other possibilities. Or you can enter the number of cMs into the Shared cM Project Tool on the DNA Painter website and it will show the possible relationships:

I think there have been problems with uploading pictures, so it might be easier if you can upload the picture to another site such as Google Photos and then post a link to it.

I assume that half 1st cousin once removed is just an estimate by the website, not known for sure? Laura was a Wood, then (some of) her descendants were Beers. So if your cousin was a descendant of Laura's, she would have Wood relatives, or if she was related to Laura in another way, also.
