Default Not sure if I'm pleased I found this or not

Scanning through the newspaper archive and found this for one of my lot from the Stamford newspaper of 1788

I have some fantastic bits and pieces from the Stamford Mercury. I particularly liked one which described the first Bank Holiday in Cleethorpes where people where using coarse language, drinking too much and revealing too much flesh. Not much changes!

I must admit that between them the Lincolnshire papers have around 600 articles for the surname, even tracked down a chap who seems a bit of a demon footballer and cyclist and found him also playing cricket for a church choir team in his early days.

I also found an article about my great grandfather taking his own life, I had asked the library several times for a copy but they said there wasn't one even though I know someone who got it from them originally. The problem with that family line though is the surname is Chambers and gives thousands of hits to wade through, mst being about Council Chambers by the look of it.
