Default First ProTools problem....

So OH paid for this a bit sooner than I was ready for!

Hit first issue with the very first people we looked at and my head has stopped functioning....

OH already had these two matches:

Two likely siblings:

Margaret (we have no parents for her) William (no parents for him) (from DNA, info below, they should be siblings - born within 10 years in roughly the same place).

Margaret's 2x ggson is OH
Margaret has another 2xggson descended from one of her other children. DNA says OH and this other 2xggson are 3rd cousins which is correct.

William has a ggranddaughter. DNA says she and OH are 3rd cousins 1xr which is correct if Margaret and William are siblings.

However the new Pro thing doesn't show any relationship between Margaret's 2xggson and Williams ggdr which should be 3rd cousin 1xr

Any thoughts?

Entirely possible. I contacted a guy whose paper tree gave us a common ancestor. We have no shared DNA.
However when we examined our shared DNA matches on that line we had several in common.

Any more distant relationship than 2nd cousin is not guaranteed to have any shared DNA.

If you look at the "Theoretical Probabilities" section on this link it says there is a 12.10% chance of no detectable DNA relationship for 3rd cousin once removed so hopefully that will convince him:
