What happened to Lily and Harry Myers?

I am trying to find out what happened to siblings Harry and Lily Lypowsky Myers, children of Abraham and Polly Lypowski Myers. Early on, the family used "Myers" for everyday life but used "Lypowsky" for official documents. They eventually adopted "Myers" permanently, using "Lypowsky" as a middle name.
Here is what I know so far:
Lily Lypowsky was born on 5th September 1892 in Lambeth. She last appears in the 1911 census, working as a tailoress and living with her parents in Woodstock Road, Hammersmith.
Harry Lypowsky was born as "Hearch" (recorded as "Hurch" on his birth certificate) on 28th March 1900 and later went by Harry. He last appears in the 1921 census, listed as an inventor and living with his parents in Windmill Road, Brentford.
By 1939, their parents and sister, Bessie, had moved to Dorset. However, both Lily and Harry are completely missing from the 1939 Register.I have been unable to find a marriage record for Lily, or any death registrations for either sibling under Myers or Lypowsky. Any help, clues, or suggestions on where to look next would be greatly appreciated! By the way the Harry Myers who died in Willesden in 1934 is not the right Harry.

On another site, some of us were involved in an epic search for a Jewish man and his family. Some of his siblings vanished from the face of the earth, except they didn't, they turned up in Ireland where their descendants still live today. Other Jewish families went to/were interred on the Isle of Man.

"Hurch" would have been Hirsch of course.

His name is consistently spelt Hearch on his First World War army records.

Wouldn't that be because he had to show his birth certificate though? My daughter was in the forces and her middle name was consistently misspelled on her records because it was misspelled on her birth certificate. (Something we both only realised last year!).

His surname is completely different on his birth certificate, though, OC.

His birth certificate has his name spelt as Hurch , the 1901 and 1911 censuses and his army records call him Hearch, on his school admission register he is Herschel and he is Harry in the 1921 census ! :-)

Ah yes, I hadn't considered the different surname.

I do know that the spelling and the use of Jewish names varies on almost every recorded occasion.

Given that Sarah became Tess, it's possible that Lily had an additional first name that she adopted after leaving home.

Yes that is a possibility - or like her other sister Bessie she may have married, separated, met someone else and lived with him as his wife. Bessie married a Henry Waldon in 1917 but by 1939 was living as Mrs Edward Baker in Bridport. They eventually married in 1965 a few months after the death of Henry.
