Edmund was baptised 13 May 1722 Edgefield, son of Richard Skilling and Ann Holman.

"But" the register says "it was born"

It was born three years earlier? It was born in another parish? A person from Porlock interrupted the rector before he could finish the sentence. The transcript - Bishop's, I assume, rather than Archdeacon's, does not contain this sentence.

Buried 6 August 1771 Cley
According to his burial entry, Edmund was a porter. I assume that he did nothing to gain settlement in his own right, as most of his sons returned to Edgefield to live, despite being born in Cley.

No will or MI.

Married firstly Sarah Framlingham at Cley 22 September 1745 and
secondly Mary Reynor at Cley 27 July 1761
