554 labelled
Any idea what this new message means, next to the update notification.
It has to be Ancestry's labelling, not mine, since a sample I've done little work on has over 5k labelled. And it only appeared this morning. Help!

Son-in-law's also updated in December. His says 470 labeled. |

Hmm. Now, if I have a seemingly massive 1,491 labeled (I do), is that a good or a bad thing?
EDIT: Updated Jan 2023 Maybe it's just down to how many rounds of updating have been applied. AND EDIT AGAIN: Okay, wait. Does it mean that in this latest update of January 2023 they've found 1,491 DNA matches to label as maternal or paternal? Last edited by Janet; 12-01-23 at 05:04. |

The labelling has disappeared on all but one of the samples I manage. Perhaps at the next update they will explain what it means?

I have 647 and they still have my cousins as unassigned. Makes you wonder.
