My husband's GG grandparents John & Emma (nee Spear) Seldon, his G grandfather William Seldon, his great uncle William Seldon and the baby is his uncle - yet another William Seldon! Taken in 1912 at the wedding of Great Uncle William. We don't know why the baby's father, Joseph Spiller Seldon (the groom's brother and OH's grandfather), is not in the photo as he is pictured in the main wedding photo.

The Ward family c1915 Father: John Ward b c1876 Mother: Annie b c1876 Son: Ernest b1905 Nelson, Lancashire Daughter: Edith (Edie) b 11 Sep 1908, d 1999 Burnley Sadly, I think I'm the only person with an interest in this photo, Edie married my great uncle Robert Kershaw and they were unable to have children (but was a wonderful great aunt to me & came to my wedding). Ernest had one son, Michael, but he died without children, so there are no blood relations that I know of. |
