Bedfordshire?
I have never needed to research Bedfordshire before. I came across a marriage for one of my ancestors and I haven't been able to find much at all online for Bedfordshire.
Is there anything I'm missing? |

Sorry, I have no idea.
All I know is that they used to have a library where we could get access to the gale newspapers online but someone wised up and we lost the account.

Don't know what period you want Liza but HALS has transcripts of all parishes up to 1812 or they used to. Those records also used to be on Family Search but a lot no longer seem available.

Thanks for the replies. Glen, I should have realised that HALS would have them.
I'll have to make a note to take a look when I visit next. |

I've just noticed that the FamilySearch Indexing project currently includes Bedfordshire parish registers, though only post-1754 ones at the moment. Hopefully there is another one for pre-1754.

I had hoped when Ancestry starting releasing collections for Bedfordshire RO that the parish registers might appear but from what I've seen it was everything but. |

If all else fails, there's the Bedfordshire Records Office, not too far away. I haven't been there for years but it was a bit tatty and run down when I did.
