Ancestry data collections
The web address for any Ancestry dataset takes the form https://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/collections/ followed by a number. So for example the London Land Tax Registers database has the address https://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/collections/2170/
Is there a numerical list of these collections available anywhere? |

Not that I know of.

That's a pity. Skimming through such a list might alert you to a record set you weren't aware of.

I've never seen such a list either. There are an awful lot of datasets to 'skim' though though - 33,385!
I do sometimes look at the recent collections list: https://www.ancestry.co.uk/cs/recent-collections

If I want to find something I use the Card Catalogue.

Yes, I do too but for the UK if I know the county I put eg Norfolk, England in the keyword box but nothing in the title box. This will bring up 11 pages of 25 titles per page. I often don't get a title right as you have to be so specific so I rarely bother to even try!
Even then not all of them are applicable eg England, Suffragettes Arrested, 1906-1914 is listed there but none for Norfolk.
