The Devon Wills Project has an entry for a Richard Seldon of Landkey dated 1755. Court code is ECCE = (Episcopal) Consistory Court of (the Bishop of) Exeter and source is FRYB = Fry's Calendar of Wills and Administrations, so it doesn't look likely that the actual will has survived.

Thanks Kite, I saw that and wondered if his will had survived. The trouble is there are so many Seldons in North Devon and they all seem to prefer to give their sons the same first name so it's very hard to know which is which!
