This could just be a little after 1930. My grandparents outside their pub, The Acorn Inn pictured with the Bass bottle car. The car can be seen in the National Museum of Brewing in Burton on Trent.
They kept the pub from 1926 onwards and grandad died in 1934. Granny kept it until her death in 1973. Grandad is on the left and granny in the doorway of the pub.

This is my husbands grandparents Frederick Arthur Brewer and Lucy Stanbridge. They were married in 1923 and my mother in law believed this to be their engagement photograph.
