I have found it useful on MyHeritage too.

OK, that's interesting to know. My Ancestry sub expires in a couple of days, so I'll give it a try after I renew.

I am disappointed to find that the "list of all people" in my tree now only goes up to 10,000 with ProTools. I will have to use Family Tree Maker if I want to see the rest of the list.

I'm getting very irritated by the Tree Checker which tells me I have duplicates. I already have several occasions where it's flagging up two siblings with different names but close in age as being possible duplicates - e.g Eliza and Anne and then Amasa and Daniel.

I should mention that as well as showing how much DNA shared matches share with each other, it also shows some shared matches below 20 cMs.

That sounds a bit like Legacy, which flags up children born less than nine months after the marriage.

Now that's very useful.

I've got the Pro Tools now; the other functions don't seem especially useful for me, but this one's great. It's bringing up loads of matches that I hadn't seen before.

I'm not sure if people are removing their results or disabling matching but I've gone from 471 matches over 20cM to less than 420 since Pro tools landed. A couple just removed usernames somehow but they have siblings who have tested so at least I have a clue to who they are (or were).

A couple of matches I've parent assigned manually based on shared matches have been flagged up as potentially wrong side and a lot of the smaller matches auto assigned to one parent are said to be distant cousins to someone on the other side of my tree.

My number of matches over 20 cM has not gone down.

This evening I am getting quite a few "internal server errors" on Ancestry. I wonder whether the new features are too much for their servers to handle.

I've been getting errors too, with pages not found. I expect that's the reason.

My number of matches over 20 cM is also still the same.
