My great grandmother Jane Barks nee Hallam with all of her children. Taken whilst her husband George was in the army during WW1.
 My grandmother Mary Ellen (seated on the left) back row: Ruth Annie, Doris May, Walter Sydney, George Frederick, Catherine front row: Alfred Henry, Olive Sarah and Florence Daisy on her mother's knee (grandmother was 18 and the eldest. I can't imagine my mother still having children was I was 18)

Francis was killed in Flanders in 1916

 My husband's GG grandparents John & Emma (nee Spear) Seldon, his G grandfather William Seldon, his great uncle William Seldon and the baby is his uncle - yet another William Seldon! Taken in 1912 at the wedding of Great Uncle William. We don't know why the baby's father, Joseph Spiller Seldon (the groom's brother and OH's grandfather), is not in the photo as he is pictured in the main wedding photo.

 My great uncle Edward Charles Lloyd Key (Ted), 1898 - 1918, my paternal grandmother's brother. Taken about 1916. My paternal grandmother, Jessie Ann Key, (1897 - 1975) sister of the above, taken on her 21st birthday 15 February 1918.
