I'm guessing it's the one a couple of miles east of Ystradgynlais, which is about the same distance from Neath and Merthyr.

If that 1841 family does turn out to be the right one, there is a non-conformist baptism for Sarah Davies, 20 Sep 1830, at Savon Independent, Llywel, Breconshire, parents Jonah Davies and Gwenllian, date of birth 15 Sep 1830.
And a tip you may need if this is the right family - when searching for the name Jonah, try Josiah too because it is a very common mistranscription.

There's some info on the Onllwyn that was in the parish of Cadoxton on GENUKI, not sure if it helps confirm whether we're looking at the right one:

Yes, I think it is that one, so hopefully that Merthyr Tydfil marriage will turn out to be the right one.

Sarah's daughter Gwenllian sometimes gave Onllwym as her birthplace on later censuses and sometimes Cadoxton, which suggests that either the two were close together or one was part of the other. Thanks for the Jonah/Josiah tip - I haven't come across either name in my tree before so I wouldn't have known about it.

Cert has come - it is the right family.
Marriage solemnized at the Register Office in the District of Merthyr Tydfil in the Counties of Glamorgan & Brecon, 26th October 1850 Gwilim Jones, 26, bachelor, haulier, [can't read the residence and unfortunately I don't have a scanner handy!], father Lewis Jones (deceased), farmer. Sarah Davies, 20, spinster, servant, residence Craig Merthyr, father Jonah Davies, shoemaker. |
