William Godfrey of Belton was buried 8 Dec 1773 (Duddington Church of England records)

His Will was signed 22 Nov 1773 and proved 10 Oct 1774.
Assigns real estate and establishment of trusts to his brother, Valentine Godfrey, and his brother-in-law, Edward Kemp. Names his dear wife Hannah, oldest son William, son Robert, three youngest daughters - Frances, Ann, and Maria; also daughter Mary - wife of William Jelly - and daughter Eleanor

I have a copy of William's will and have done a transcription.
