Still no Cornish given despite proven ancestry.
However, I now have Northern France including Brittany, which is probably my Cornish ancestors as the regions are closely connected.

Results as bizarre as ever. I now have a smidgeon of North East England ancestry. Given the number of Norfolk cousins who moved to that area, I wonder whether they've actually got things the right way round. Meanwhile my aunt now has Icelandic and South West Balkan ancestors. At least she finally has a bit of Irish blood. It's been a long time coming.

My results are mad. Taken all the Cornwall out and added Lithuania. Added a little of my Scottish back.

My late brother's results made him half English, half Irish. Our paper research makes us half English, half Scots. For us to be Irish, not Scots would mean that my mum was adopted in......a most unlikely scenario. Fortunately for us, we were confident that Ancestry's Irish was our Scots but had we been new researchers with no knowledge of our own ancestry we could have been very misled.

My paternal half sister has always been about half as Irish as I am on our shared side and has no maternal Irish. This time she still has no maternal Irish but is higher than my pat and mat Irish combined.

They've apparently given it to me, Libby...

OC, I have to say I was pleased to find myself in Cornwall.

Lol Janet, you wouldn't be pleased if you really were in Cornwall, Land of Road Works at the moment!

Same here, OC! Sometimes our "village" feels surrounded by the pesky things. The government, in its wisdom, thinks that the construction of 1,000 extra houses can be achieved without a huge impact on local life. We have road closures, diversions and roadworks everywhere. Many of the roads we use are no more than lanes.

I'd chance it, though, OC, if I thought I might run into the ghost of Ross Poldark...
