The last one at the age of 73 Occupation(s) - if any Brassfounder (1793 on enlistment in the army) Soldier in the 17th Foot Leicestershire Regiment (1793 - 1819) Enlisted in the 17th Foot Leicestershire Regiment in 1793 in Bristol. Served 26 years, Private: 3 years, Corporal 10 months, Sergeant 13 years 1 month and Quartermaster Sergeant 9 years 7 months. Conduct excellent. Discharged at Ghazipur, India in 1819 Publican in Eastern on the Hill at least from 1838 (daughters marriage cert) and 1841 census Chelsea Pensioner Addresses where they lived (including county if in UK) - and please list which censuses you have or haven't found him/her on (if s/he lived in census times!). 1806 - Cawnpore, India 1811-1812 - Meerut, India 1814-1819 - Ghazipur, India 1841 - Easton on the Hill, Northamptonshire 1851 - 1853 - Burghley Lane, Stamford Baron, Northamptonshire Date, place and cause of death 23 June 1853 in Burghley Lane, Stamford Baron, Northamptonshire - cause - Enlargement and Chronic disease of the Liver and Dropsy Date and place of burial. 26 June 1853 at St Martin's Churchyard, Stamford Baron, Northamptonshire Details of will / administration of their estate - if applicable Unknown Memorial inscription - if any Unknown - I have visited the churchyard but all of the stones are very weather worn and unreadable Link to son:Charles Newey
