Default Sarah House Joyner

Sarah House Joyner was born Hamworthy, Devon & baptised 10 April 1785 at Lytchett Minster, the church at Hamworthy then being in disrepair. She was a daughter of Robert Joyner and Susannah nee House.

She married James Moore

If anyone can find her in 1841, congratulations!

1851 in Waterloo Buildings, Poole, living with her married daughter Susan Hawkins & family.

1861 they have all moved to Portsmouth.

The 1861 death is of a much younger woman.

1871 she has disappeared again. That is probably her in the workhouse. She's the right age, but says she was born in Deptford, Kent.

This is a possible death:
Death:
Name: MOORE, Sarah
Registration District: Help Portsea Island
County: Hampshire
Year of Registration: 1877
Quarter of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar
Age at death: 92
Volume No: 2B
Page No: 264
age is right, but details don't quite tally.
