The family information that I inherited on this man was completely wrong so I have had to start again from scratch!
Although this newspaper report does not say that he is the Revd, I believe that this is most likely his death in 1951, and says he was born c1879 https://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/co...=successSource Trove has this advertisement after his death which names his daughter. She was born 1908 Victoria Australia, and her parents named as Alfred Edgar FREEMAN and Elizabeth McGRICE https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/a...dgar%20freeman Alfred married Elizabeth McGRICE 1905 in South Australia https://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/co...=successSource They are together on the electoral roll from 1912 when he was a teacher https://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/co...=successSource There are some other Freeman's on the electoral roll in the same area, but when I have looked for the births of some of them, their parrents appear to be Mary HALL and John FREEMAN, and they don't appear to have a son Alfred born in Victoria He did his theological studies in Ballarat Victoria, and was ordained there 1918 and 1919. NSW BMD gives his parents as Joshua and Emma, but parents names given at death are not always correct. https://familyhistory.bdm.nsw.gov.au...earch/result?3 I have all the information I need on his wife Elizabeth who was a bit older than him born 1867 South Australia, but I have been unable to find his birth anywhere! Can anyone see where he may have come from?

The Trove advertisement states that Lorna is the eldest daughter, and one of the next of kin. Does that imply that there were other daughters?
You say you've found out all there is to know about Elizabeth. Did she predecease Alfred, or could she be counted as one of the next of kin? It seems a bit odd, given that Alfred is apparently living with his daughter at the time of his death that they seem to be checking in case anybody else is interested in the estate.

The Victoria BMD site has the birth in 1910 of another daughter, Doreen Elizabeth May. She married a David Scroggie and she died in 1967 in Victoria.
