I'm not very good at these things - but could this be her as a boarder in 1901? -

I expect you've seen it before, and the date is a few years out - also she is single

I don't think it could be my Kate, she was definitely still married in 1901 - CHristopher did not die until 1927. They are probably under a mangled transcription somewhere in Newtown or in the Prestwich area - maybe I need just to scan the whole district !!
