Thankyou for all your help, I am now looking for the baptism for susanah hushand Robert, b. Gwyntherin, but just be looking at the census records for him, in 1851 it has Jane as his wife not Susannah, unless of course I have been looking at the wrong Robert,

And his surname was? And he was born about when?
It's also helpful if when quoting parish names, you tell us which county they were in at the time in question.

Sorry surname Jones, I think Gwythrin is near Henllan, so I think that goes under the county of Denbighshire

FMP only seems to have PR's for Gwythrin from 1813 and I'm guessing Robert was b some time before that!

With roughly one bap a year for Robert Jones, it might be difficult to pick the right baptism even if we had access to the registers.

Thankyou Merry. Researching the family with the surname Jones living in Wales is quite tricky. With the regards to the 1851 census do you think that would be a different Robert Jones to the one I.m looking for.
