As you'll see, Ann's surname gets mangled quite a bit!

She had twin sons, Robert and Joseph, in January. Robert died a week after birth and then Joseph died in April. In October Ann's older brother William Mealing killed his pregnant fiancee and in December he was tried and found innocent on the grounds of insanity. Prior to living with Sarah, William had been a lodger with William Williams' parents Joseph & Elizabeth. Rendcomb burial, a possible child of William and Ann: Williams, Sarah (Woodmancote, N Cerney) 11/3/1868 (4 months) 1871 census RG10 2645 39 p., 31 Woodmancote/North Cerney William Williams 35,[birth year 1836] gardener [birthplace: Rendcombe, crossed out and written over: Winstone] Ann 34 wife Rendcombe Emma 11 scholar Woodmancote Charles 7, scholar Woodmancote Elizabeth aged 5 scholar Woodmancote Sarah 9 months. Woodmancote 28 Mar 1874, Woodmancote, North Cerney Ann died of flooding after childbirth. I haven't found a live birth registration so can only conclude the baby was born dead.
