They had indexes and transcriptions before, but these are the actual images. |

Great, my son-in-law has ancestors from the Isle of Man.
I think we have already seen most of the images but he can link them to his tree. |

Odd, it's saying I need to upgrade and gives a price in US dollars.

I've tried several times with different methods and it won't let me see the images.

Sometimes that happens when they have just added a new dataset. If it is the same tomorrow, you should contact them to complain.

One of my main branches is from the IOM and I viewed the filmed registers many years ago at the LDS centre. They are a mine of information (in the main!). One which sticks in my mind though, is a burial register after a shipwreck. Page after page of human remains "known unto god" and I salute the Vicar who dignified such an awful task.
OC PS, IOM has some fantastic records in their museum (online). |

Reply from Ancestry:
The Isle of Man records, such as the Church of England Baptisms, Marriages, and Burials, 1603-1910, are not included in the UK Premium membership. These records require a Worldwide or All-Access membership for access. After checking into this further an upgrade would be needed for the records you're checking. I pointed out that Jersey has a similar status and I can view the images for there. |

"I understand your frustration. The Isle of Man records, like the Church of England Baptisms, Marriages, and Burials, 1603-1910, are categorized differently and require a Worldwide or All-Access membership due to their classification. Let me know if you'd like assistance with upgrading or exploring other options."
I can see images for C of E bmbs so I'm not sure what that is about. "Message from Lewis: If you would like I can offer a discount on our Worldwide 6-months subscription for £74.99. That's £25 in savings. If not then no worries at all, is there anything else I can help with today?" |

I think they have just replaced the phrase "such as" with "like" and thus made their answer more confusing, Elizabeth! They are still talking about the same dataset.
When I search their Card Catalog and I have the box ticked for "Only records from the UK and Ireland", the Isle of Man PR's show at the top of the list. Does your existing subscription let you access the Isle of Man 1921 census? https://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/collections/63153 |

Thanks for looking at this, Kate.
Yes, I can see the Isle of Man census for 1921. |
