The "about" info reads as though these were pre-1858 wills, so I am confused as to how they have got these, but the ones that I have looked at so far say they were proved at Shrewsbury. I can't find any information on Shropshire Archives' website about them holding copies of these, although the "about" info says that's where they're from. Anyway, if you are looking for post-1858 Shropshire wills this will save you some money. I wonder whether they will be able to do the same for other counties. I have a few people in my tree who died in Shropshire in that period, but their wills were proved in London so are not included.

It sounds as if those might be original wills with copies sent to London. If that's the case then they are worth looking at on two counts
