Default John Bone & Susan Newcombe

Evening all,

I'm trying to find further back than John & Susan

John Bone married Susan Newcombe 26/10/1823 at East Stonehouse Devon witness's were William Bone & Elizabeth Newcombe, relatives but what kind?

John through census returns was born in Beer/ Beeralston appx 1801, Susan appx 1798 Plymouth.
John is on census records 1841-1881 & Susan 41-71 living in Charles the Martyr district.
They had 6 possibly 7 children.

Hope you can help.

There is a John, son of William and Mary Bone, baptised 5 Oct 1800 at Bere Ferrers (the parish which included Bere Alston.) Also a John, son of Thomas and Elizabeth Bone, baptised 16 Jun 1805, maybe a bit too young to be yours.

What were the names of John and Susan's children, as these are often clues to the grandparents' names?

Elizabeth, daughter of William and Sarah Newcombe, baptised 8 Jul 1803 at Plymouth St Andrew. I'm wondering whether she could be Susan's sister, and the marriage witness?

Is there a baptism for Susan?
Children for the couple included, Mary Ann, John, William, Thomas, Samuel & Charles.
Sounds like they could match.
