I have. I was originally going to put that as a possibility but didn't want to influence anyone who might look. Nice to have someone else thinking along the same lines.
The entry in the register does say CAMEL very clearly but that is the only entry so could have been misheard. There have been instances of the name CANNELL being written as CAMEL & also CANHAM.
Certainly the 1743 marriage fits nicely for a first baptism in 1744.
I have searched a good many Norfolk parishes but FreeReg threw that one up.The new additions for Norfolk on FreeReg have already produced the baptism of my 5xg-gm Agnes SALLOWS after years of looking.
